Moving On

I’ve enjoyed the past few weeks in and around Ouray; however, there is oh-so-much to see and do before returning to hearth, home, hubby, and hound in November.

H = (rd x ft) + tp
Happiness = (rainy day x free time) + trip planning

Following is a collection of moments that didn’t quite fit anywhere else in the Ouray Chronicles.

Mark summited Twin Peaks last weekend and captured Ouray nestled in her Box Canyon. Isn't she lovely?

This pastoral scene has been my western backdrop and I've never got tired of staring at it. Jamie - you could live here, right?

Closeup.

The view to the south, as the light unceasingly dances across Nature's bold canvas.

Dramatic Corbett Peak with its crazy mood swings, sunny one minute, stormy the next.

Rupert, another of Nature's creations, keeps us safe from the Hummingbird threat.

We can't have anything nice.

Here's what it looks like when the un (and under) employed make plans for the day.

Glenn, Mark, Bobbie, Gayle, Jim, Debbie
And here's what hungry bikers look like in the ensuing post-ride eating frenzy at Taco del Gnar.

So long for now ... from the Little House in the Forest!
