Michigan's Upper Peninsula

I leave the Lake Superior region soon, but I've enjoyed every bit of it.

From the small towns

to the forests

the many waterfalls

the shoreline (where you can see all the way to Canada)

the dunes

the wetlands

and the cliffs.

What a sensational trip this has been!

(Not that it's over).

Stay Tuned!

  1. Kim: Be sure to bring back some uppie jokes---they are a staple of humor for the rest of the country.

  2. Looks lovely, hope to get there one day. Jim is hesitant because of mosquitoes. Are they still around this time of year?

  3. Lucky you! One day, I'll be able to leave New England early enough to visit the UP and other points north and west, again. Enjoy!

  5. I think it was in Ironwood where the place with all the VWs was visible as you drove by. Been a lot of years since I was up there.
